We have a preowned Jose Ramirez 3E vintage classical guitar made in 1990. The playability of this guitar is on par with any new guitar and it has a Spanish open tone and with punchy basses. As this guitar is over 30 years, the woods have matured reaching their optimal tonal qualities bringing out the complexities in the sound. The guitar has a nice sustain and harmonics resonances.
This top of the line all solid wood guitar has a nice playable action. The guitar has quarter sawn Indian Rosewood back and sides, Spanish cedar neck, dark ebony finger board and cedar top.
This model of guitar were made in the Ramirez factory until 1992 after which they began to be contracted out. This guitar delivers a robust and confident sound with a swift response on the string attack. A very noticeable is the sustain and overtone and just ring out. This vintage masterpiece will take you into the captivating world of classical guitar music.
The guitar has been carefully restored in our workshop to prime playing condition. There were two repaired cracks on the sound board near the neck-to-body junction and one at the arm rest on the side. All of these have been professionally restored and barely noticeable. However, none of these have comprised any elements of the sound of the guitar.
