The MARTINEZ Performer MSCC-14OV is a hybrid acoustic/electric classical guitar built with quality tonewoods.

This is a slim body guitar with special bracing to add structural integrity to the body. It has a slim sound hole leaning off from the guitar’s fingerboard thus providing the right level of sound projections needed when the guitar is plugged in. There is also a sound port that acts as a personal monitor to the player.
The neck shape is slightly thinner, and the fingerboard surface has a radius making versatile enough to play various styles. This makes it possible to play in a wide range of styles.
The soundboard is made of solid Ovangkol with solid Ovangkol for the back and sides.
Ovangkol is gaining popularity due to its acoustic properties. This tonewood has pronounced tones in the mids and highs, similar to that of Maple but not as bright as Maple. The basses are warm and deep, like that of Indian Rosewood. It also has rich harmonic spectrum.
