A handmade traditional styled Classical Guitar made with an excellent choice of solid Amazon Rosewood for the back and sides, a very rare find in this day and age. The top consist of a master grade solid Western Red Cedar tight grained. The Rosette consists of flamed Abalone design embedded within Mother of Pearl backdrop. The soundboard bindings has Abalone that matches the rosette.
The guitar also has a lattice brace that provides great amount of strength to the top; however, the thickness of the top is more less similar to a traditional guitar additional. The tone is naturally rich, full and sweet with round deep bass a nice balanced of treble. The guitar has a noticeably long sustain and nice overtones. The consistency of tone is across the full range of the fingerboard.
The bridge has a 12-hole tie block that increases the break angle of the strings to the bridge which helps to improve the overall responsiveness of the guitar. The turner machines are hand made by the famous Baljak with 1:18 gear ratio.
Amazon Rosewood is a superior tone wood with a great look and acoustic properties. Very responsive, highly dynamic, very good separation of notes, slightly more pronounced on basses than the mids and trebles. Amazon Rosewood is perhaps the closest replacement of Brazilian Rosewood, generally they are very similar sharing the same great visual and acoustic properties. Amazon Rosewood has equally a balanced warm sound with full round basses and crystal trebles, however due to the higher density the notes tend to come out more clear piano-like with great separation of voices.
